-Takes initiative
-Holds their own

Mostly because these are the kind of people I love to work for and with. They foster curiosity, ingenuity, and confidence. They're people not scared to work hard and also draw the line. These are people you can trust to be honest when they don't know but also trust to figure it out.

These qualities can't really be taught—they're self-won through hard work, uphill challenges, and life experience.

If somebody's scrappy, takes initiative, and can stand up for their ideas, they're 🔥. There would be no question I'd hire them.
